Batchbook is a “social CRM”: a customizable, web-based contact relationship manager (CRM) that helps small businesses organize their contact data and manage their social network. Why did you start this company?

BatchBlue was created with one goal in mind: to create useful, user-friendly software for small businesses.The founders of BatchBlue come from a variety of programming, project management, and web usability backgrounds, but they share a passion for technology and a commitment to making it useful and accessible for customers.

Was your company started on a shoestring budget or funded?

BatchBlue was originally self and “friends and family” funded – so we could barely afford shoestrings. We are now primarily customer funded.

Batchbook solves a crucial need by providing small businesses and entrepreneurs with web-based CRM software to manage and track the contact information, communications and tasks for their greatest asset—their people network. BatchBlue is committed to integrating our social CRM technology with other small business solutions that we know will benefit our customer. Yes. BatchBlue offers five account levels ranging in price from $14.95 to $149.95 per month for Batchbook. Each account offers a free 30-day trial and all accounts can be upgraded, downgraded, or canceled at any time. They’re also all pay-as-you-go.

We offer new customers a two hour one-on-one consultation with our Onboarding Specialists to help them customize their account to their specific needs.

Also, in addition to our regularly updated blog and active Twitter and Facebook feeds, we also offer users regular webinar training sessions with live product demos. These webinars also include a Q&A so that attendees can have specific questions. The webinars are archived on our website for future viewings. Other ways we offer superior customer service include incorporating feature requests, submitted by customers, into our regular staff meetings. Many of our integrations have come from user requests and we fulfill them as soon as we are able.
