Internet Explorer continues to lose market share

Net Applications has released it’s statistics for March, showing Internet Explorer continuing to slide in its dominance of the browser market while Firefox continues its steady rise. For the month of March, Internet Explorer market share fell to 66.8%, down from 67.4% in February. The new version of Explorer, IE 8, has managed to capture only 1.83% of the market. The world, however, still belongs to Internet Explorer 7, as the following chart shows:
